Troubleshooting the Skyward Portal
If you cannot login to the portal due to a forgotten password:
- Click the ‘Forgot your Login/Password?’ link
- Enter your email address and click the submit button
- Check your email for message from portageps.org, which will contain your login ID and a link you can use to choose a new password.
If you are not receiving Skyward emails:
- Check your spam folder in your email client – occasionally, Skyward emails are trapped by spam filters
- If necessary, follow the instructions from your email provider to ‘whitelist’ and email source, adding portageps.org to the list of domains to always allow
- Check with the front office of the school your child attends to validate/update your email address on our records as needed
If all else fails:
Send an email to [email protected], including the following information:
- A description of the problem you are having
- The login ID you are using
- The email address you are using
- If you know, the type of computer, operating system, and web-browser you are using
- DO NOT send us your password – it’s not safe!
